Some of Our Key Initiatives
The following key initiatives support our vision for CWEED Global:
1. Grow What You Eat – Project Bloom Berry
Project Bloom Berry is a sustainable agriculture and food security initiative created to promote backyard farming, cooperative farming systems, and community-based agricultural development.
The initiative encourages individuals, families, schools, women, youths, and local communities to actively participate in food production as a pathway to self-sufficiency, economic empowerment, and long-term sustainability.
Our philosophy is simple:
“Grow what you eat, sell some, save, invest, and grow more.”
Through this initiative, we aim to:
- Encourage household and community farming culture
- Reduce hunger and food insecurity
- Promote healthy nutrition and self-reliance
- Support cooperative and community-based farming systems
- Create sustainable income opportunities through agriculture
- Empower women and youths through agribusiness
- Strengthen local food production and agricultural value chains
- Promote environmentally sustainable farming practices
Project Bloom Berry is designed to transform agriculture from mere subsistence into a tool for community transformation, economic growth, food security, and sustainable living.
